Off-Campus Housing + Airport Pickup
There are several off-campus housing options in the area including dorms and apartments. Simply International offers short-term and long-term apartment locating and furniture setup services for individual students and scholars. Simply international will also provide airport pick-up, in addition to a customized checklist of things to do before moving to the US.
University Admissions
Are you interested in attending a university? HOFT Institute will introduce you to several top area universities and colleges as well as universities across the country! We have 90+ partner schools and universities that will offer HOFT students TOEFL waivers and conditional letters of acceptance. We take every step to be sure our college-bound students are ready for their transition into university life!
Academic Advising
HOFT Institute students receive free college counseling. We can help you choose a college or university, and we can help you with the applications.
Annual College Fair
Representatives from Texas colleges and universities visit throughout the year. They talk about university programs and answer student questions. It is a fun, personal way to learn about college!
Partner School Events
HOFT Institute partners with many local and national schools to help students like you. Recruitment events are free. At a recruitment event, students learn about the programs, talk with admission representatives and explore the transfer options available. Transportation assistance to local recruitment events is available for a fee.
University Visits
We take our students on university visits each year! Is there a school that you would like to visit? Let us know and we can set up a visit for you.
90+ Partner Schools
We have 80+ partner schools as well as partnerships with several universities in Texas that will give HOFT students conditional letters of acceptance and a TOEFL waiver.
Student Activities
We have student activities every week. All full-time and part-time students and their friends and family are welcome to join. Are you interested in participating? Email english@hoft.edu.
We now have online conversation partner meetups every day with American volunteers! Contact the academic director (blair@hoft.edu) to take part! All current and past HOFT Institute students are welcome.
