HOFT Institute has 35+ years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to international students. HOFT’s ESL program is part of HOFT’s educational center which is open seven days a week, most days until 10 pm, providing ESL students many opportunities to meet and socialize with native English-speaking students.
2. Highly Qualified and Experienced Instructors
All HOFT Institute ESL instructors are certified to teach English as a Second Language. They have either a master’s degree related to teaching English or at least 12 years of ESL teaching experience. In addition, all of our full-time teachers are well-traveled and/or have taught internationally.
3. Small Class Sizes and Diverse International Student Body
Class sizes are no larger than 10 students for writing and 16 students for all other classes. Most semesters, we have students from approximately 30 countries on our campus.
Competitive Pricing HOFT Institute ESL classes have open enrollment which allows students to begin classes at any time before the 10th week of the 15-week semester. Tuition is prorated accordingly. Our competitive pricing includes all classroom material fees and fees for extracurricular and cultural activities.

6. Accredited by ACCET and Authorized to Issue I-20s
HOFT Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). We are authorized by the US Government Student and Exchange Visitor Program to issue I-20 forms for international students. HOFT I-20s are issued within 48 hours of receiving all required documents.
8. English for Specific Purposes and Test-Prep Courses
The electives in our ESL program integrate occupational learning into a curriculum of academic coursework: ESL for Business, ESL for the Healthcare Profession, workforce preparation, an internship practicum, and professional development to give students a jump start. Every semester we offer between 8 and 12 such elective courses.
